Job Description
Job Requirements
- OH Commercial Building Official (CBO) (Lvl 5) OR Comprehensive Code Official (CCO) (Lvl 6) certification required.
- OH Residential/Limited Commercial (RLC) (Lvl 2 or 3) plumbing and/or electrical specializations preferred.
- Level 2 (RLC – RPI) or Level 3 (RLC -PI).
- Level 2 (RLC-REI) or Level 3 (RLC – ESI).
- Additional OH certifications are a plus.
- Inspection experience required.
- Client and team management experience in a building department setting preferred.
- Be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of local building code regulations, policies and procedures.
- Have solid computer skills and experience using MS Office programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exercise initiative and display independent judgment.
- Be self-directed and self-motivated.
