Overview
The Electronic Systems Technician II is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining advanced audiovisual and smart technology solutions. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage complex projects. The technician will install, program, and service a range of systems, including control platforms, whole-home A/V setups, security systems, and structured cabling networks. A deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies is essential to deliver cutting-edge solutions that exceed client expectations

Core Job Responsibilities
Conduct precise and efficient pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing of cables which interconnect audio, video, data, security, and control equipment.
Proficiently execute tasks involving the running, fishing, and termination of low voltage wiring.
Safely execute the installation of displays, mounts, speakers, cameras, and equipment, employing various methods such as in-wall installations, mounting to structures, and ceiling mounting techniques.
Conduct the precise and efficient pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing of cables that interconnect audio, video, data, security, and control equipment.
Exhibit proficiency in the configuration and programming of integrated automation systems, advanced security platforms, and robust network infrastructures.
Provide valuable assistance in the comprehensive system commissioning process, encompassing rigorous testing, and conducting training walk-through sessions with clients.
Execute sophisticated diagnostic analysis and resolution for complex issues across audiovisual systems, data network infrastructure, security platforms, and integrated control equipment.
Demonstrate exceptional self-reliance and proactive problem-solving skills, utilizing available resources efficiently while applying critical thinking to develop innovative solutions, maximizing the potential of provided tools and equipment.
Possess intermediate proficiency in device configuration and computer network installation.
Exhibit strong customer service skills and maintain collaborative relationships within the team.
Excel in multitasking while consistently delivering high-quality work with professional integrity.
Prioritize project objectives effectively, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
Ensure the upkeep of fleet vehicles, stock inventory, and adhere to scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
Actively engage in the on-call service rotation on an as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
Physical Requirements
Operate a motor vehicle
Operate construction tools including ladders, hand drills, reciprocating saws, hammer, tack hammer, various hand saws, as well as various Audio/Visual hand tools including wire strippers, cutters, low voltage meter in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA regulation
Stand or walk 70% and sit 30% of the time
Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Successfully perform in a workplace environment which could see extremes in temperatures
