Job Description

Position Summary The Provider Relations Representative plays a critical role in expanding Salma Health’s referral network across Orange County and San Diego. This role focuses on building trusted relationships with healthcare providers, strengthening care coordination, and accelerating patient access to high-quality brain and mental health care. By partnering closely with referring clinicians and systems, this position directly supports Salma Health’s mission to deliver timely, integrated, and personalized care. Key Responsibilities Build and manage high-impact referral partnerships with health systems, primary care providers (PCPs), psychiatrists, therapists, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, PHPs, and outpatient behavioral health clinics. Design and execute targeted outreach strategies aligned with Salma Health’s patient populations and clinical offerings. Represent Salma Health in the field through in-person meetings, events, and educational sessions to deepen relationships and increase brand awareness. Lead the development and execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to formalize partnerships and ensure alignment on referral workflows and communication standards. Collaborate with marketing and operations to localize messaging, co-host provider events, and support market-level growth initiatives. Analyze referral data to identify high-performing channels and optimize partnership strategies. Track outreach activity, referral volume, and partner engagement in CRM systems. Build and maintain dashboards to monitor performance metrics, provider satisfaction, and referral trends. Job Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, partnerships, or strategic sales.
  • Strong familiarity with the Orange County or San Diego healthcare landscape; existing provider relationships strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within behavioral health, primary care, or specialty care environments.
  • Demonstrated success driving referral growth or building partnerships with physician groups, hospitals, or health systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, field-based role.
