Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS or related technology/engineering discipline preferred or equivalent experience required
- Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) in a relevant IT field will also be considered as equivalent
- Advanced Industry certifications in Cloud and Security services required
- Palo Alto Certification required (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification preferred, CCNP required
- Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) with minimal 6 years’ experience that focus on IT Communication will be accepted
- 10 or more years working in an Architect or Engineering position with a focus on Cloud Security and network Security infrastructure services
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting large, distributed network with cloud and local infrastructure services
- Hands-on experience designing and administering firewall and network security services
- In-depth knowledge of VLANs, spanning tree, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, physical layer protocols i.e. LACP and other trucking technologies
- Detailed knowledge of Security technologies and their relations to Network communications
- Hands on experience with zScaler Security, remote access, and segmentation solutions
- ZDXA certification preferred
- Experience leading the evaluation of new hardware, firmware, and software.
- Ability to perform maintenance activities outside of normal business hours.
