• Perform installation and commissioning on drive systems, power systems, automation systems or dynamic positioning systems at customer site locations during ship construction. • Performs troubleshooting activities at site locations during scheduled Port visits or at sea to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions. • Performs a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of our equipment. • Develop documentation to execute work such as commissioning and maintenance procedures, as well as execute customer training. • Execute on site project management and technical leader duties to resolve customer issues and provide customer satisfaction • Identify sales opportunities for service agreements, spare parts, training, and upgrades. • Provide on call support in response to customer calls for service. • Assist in the growth and direction of the North American business. • Provide support to engineering teams working on customer upgrade projects • Complete timely service reports and other administrative requirements • Perform work on-board vessels within GE / Customer safety guidelines either in shipyards or offshore.
