Role Description

We’re looking for a US-based Partnerships Manager who can build both sides of the market: brands investing in sports sponsorship and tournament organizers attracting those sponsors.

  • Build partnerships with brands already investing in sports sponsorships (tournaments, championships, leagues)
  • Onboard tournament organizers, leagues, and federations that attract and manage sponsors
  • Position SOTA as a central platform for sponsorship planning, activation, and reporting
  • Lead commercial discussions from first contact to signed agreements
  • Work closely with Product to translate market needs into product improvements
  • Build long-term relationships, not one-off deals

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in sports sponsorship, partnerships, or commercial roles
  • Strong network across brands and agencies
  • Experience working with tournaments, championships, or federations
  • Ability to speak both languages: brands (ROI, transparency, accountability) and organizers (monetization, control, scalability)
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • US-based, comfortable operating internationally

  • Experience with sponsorship analytics, media value tracking, or digital inventory (nice to have)
  • Background in sports tech, media, or platforms (nice to have)
  • Existing relationships with sponsors active in soccer or multi-sport events (nice to have)
