Role Description

This position is designed to support Sales initiatives that will drive to achieving Sales membership, revenue, or other related business goals.

  • Focus on supporting data analytics and reporting across all lines of business
  • Streamline the use of the customer relationship management tool
  • Build an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other members of the department
  • Partner cross-functionally with other departments including Human Resources, Operations, Analytics & Reporting, IT&D, and Finance
  • Participate in monthly data analytics (medical, dental, vision, and stop loss) activities
  • Support the identification and training of best practices related to the use of the CRM tool
  • Participate in annual Sales Plan development activities
  • General Stop Loss administration and support
  • Support other members of the department in their duties and responsibilities on an as-needed basis
  • Act as a cross-functional liaison between sales and other areas of the company
  • May be asked to represent sales for various corporate initiatives
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a related field
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience
  • 1 year experience in insurance, business analysis, sales administration or a related field

Requirements

  • Proficient with business software applications including strong spreadsheet skills (Excel is preferred)
  • A general knowledge of the health insurance marketplace
  • Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management tools is a plus
  • Experience with existing Capital Blue Cross operational systems is a plus
