Job Description
Role Description
This role involves editing video content for Collider, focusing on major events in the entertainment industry.
- Edit and upload video content efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high production standards.
- Coordinate with the social media team to ensure timely distribution of video content across various platforms.
- Communicate effectively with Creative Producer and other team members to align on content priorities and deadlines.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to contribute creative ideas for video content.
- Assist in the development of video production workflows and best practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video content produced for Collider.
Qualifications
- Experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in capturing compelling visuals and storytelling.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Extremely fast turnaround is required for breaking news.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in digital media and video production.
- Previous experience covering entertainment events, red carpet premieres, and interviews is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and to travel as needed to accommodate event schedules and production requirements.
- A passion for entertainment and pop culture, with a deep understanding of the industry and its key players.
