Job Description
Role Description
As LVT scales toward our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Principal of FP&A to serve as the "architect" of our financial systems ecosystem. This is a high-leverage, senior role designed for a finance leader who thrives at the intersection of complex financial modeling, data architecture, and strategic execution. You will own the integrity of our FP&A tech stack, drive mission-critical projects like margin analysis, and act as a primary driver of high-priority strategic initiatives for the CFO and VP of FP&A.
This role is based out of our Utah HQ or remote (United States) with ~1 week per month of travel to HQ in American Fork, UT.
- Oracle ERP Implementation Lead: Serve as the primary FP&A stakeholder and functional lead for Oracle ERP implementation; you will design the Chart of Accounts (COA), ensure data mapping aligns with reporting requirements, and lead UAT for finance modules.
- Systems Architecture & Strategy: Act as the functional owner of the FP&A tech stack (Adaptive, Oracle Fusion EPM, Tableau, Snowflake), ensuring a "single source of truth" by managing data flows between ERP, Workday, and Snowflake.
- Budget & Resource Oversight: Directly manage and own a designated portion of the FP&A budget, providing rigorous oversight, forecasting, and resource allocation recommendations to the executive team.
- Headcount & Workforce Planning: Partner with the People Team to architect a robust "Single Source of Truth" for headcount, designing the end-to-end process for position management and requisition workflows across Workday and Adaptive.
- Strategic "Special Ops": Lead high-priority projects including complex margin expansion analysis, unit economic modeling, and unit-level profitability studies.
- Executive Influence: Prepare and present high-stakes financial narratives and strategic decks for Board of Directors meetings and executive leadership reviews.
- Functional Scaling: While beginning as a high-leverage Individual Contributor, this role is designed to build the technical pillar of the finance team and transition into a Director position with direct reports.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Finance Operations, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or Hardware/Manufacturing environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in FP&A Planning software, specifically Adaptive Planning or Oracle Fusion EPM.
- Proven track record of working within a modern data stack including Workday, Oracle ERP, Snowflake, Tableau, and Jira.
- Self-starter with a track record of operating independently at a very high level—owning projects from ideation to execution without requiring oversight.
- Ability to translate complex operational data into clear financial models that drive executive decision-making and margin expansion.
- Adept at partnering with IT, Accounting, and People teams to align technical systems with business objectives.
- Willingness to travel to American Fork, UT, roughly one week per month to collaborate deeply with the HQ leadership team if based remotely.
Compensation
The beginning annual salary range for this role is $171,000.00 - $204,000.00 USD and is determined by location, job-related experience, and education/training. Your total earning potential is amplified by a bonus structure tied to meeting goals, and you will become an owner from day one through our employee equity program.
Benefits
- Comprehensive health insurance
- 401(k) with company match
