Job Description

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced analytical and scientific instruments • Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues down to the component level • Provide technical support in laboratory and industrial environments • Train and support customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance • Document service activities and prepare detailed service reports • Respond to customer needs, often with short notice • Travel within assigned territory (50–75%) to support customers

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field with 2+ years of hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex instruments
  • High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory/scientific instruments
  • Experience with HVAC/R, ultra-high vacuum systems, and high-voltage equipment preferred
  • Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to travel 50–75%
