Job Description
Role Description
This role is designed for a finance professional who thrives in ownership, operates independently, and brings rigor to financial planning and cash flow management.
- Own key components of the annual operating plan (Budget), quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial model (5-year plan)
- Lead cash flow forecasting, including 13-week cash models and runway analysis
- Build and maintain robust financial models supporting strategic, operational, and liquidity decisions
- Drive monthly variance analysis (BvAs) with clear articulation of drivers and risks
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and R&D leaders to manage budgets and evaluate financial performance
- Support board-level reporting materials and executive presentations
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting precision, working capital management, and contribution margin performance
- Continuously improve financial modeling infrastructure, planning and reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 4–6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or similar analytical roles
- Advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory — this role requires extreme competence in Excel:
- Complex financial modeling
- Scenario analysis
- Cash flow modeling
- Sensitivity analysis
- Proficiency with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Quickbooks
- Strong experience in cash flow planning and liquidity management
- Demonstrated ability to build structured, scalable financial models from the ground up
- High ownership mentality and comfort operating solo in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Ability to translate financial analysis into clear business insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or high-growth environments is a plus
