Job Description
• Manage day-to-day operations for the Capital Markets function, including loan sales, post-closing coordination, and service transfer workflows
• Act as the primary operational liaison between Capital Markets, Post-Closing, Servicing, Accounting, Sales, and Processing
• Execute and oversee the full life cycle of loan sales from pricing through settlement
• Provide regular operational reporting and performance metrics to senior leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while remaining actively involved in production
• Assist in implementing and refining policies, procedures, controls, and process improvements
• Support the management of warehouse lending facilities for rental and bridge loan products
• Ensure loan tapes are accurate and prepared for collateral pledging
• Execute rate locks and pricing requests as needed
• Deliver complete electronic loan files to third-party due diligence providers
• Assist in clearing escalated loan exceptions raised during diligence reviews
• Monitor loan sale settlement statements and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate clearing of post-closing conditions and delivery of physical collateral to investors
• Research escalated payment issues and partner with new servicers to resolve
• Partner with Accounting on reconciliation and funding timelines
• Track pipeline status, aging, curtailments, and investor turn times
• Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support audits, investor requests, and internal compliance reviews
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of mortgage or financial services experience, preferably in Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Post-Closing, or Loan Servicing
- 3+ years of direct people management or team-lead experience in a production environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead while executing daily tasks
- High-level problem-solving and escalation management skills
- Proficiency with Outlook and Adobe products
- Strong ability to interpret and apply investor guidelines, warehouse bank requirements, and regulatory instructions
- Excellent analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly in a growing, changing environment
- Technology-forward mindset with the ability to learn new platforms rapidly
