Role Description

This role is a senior-level technical leadership position, responsible for delivering complex, multi-discipline telecom projects while serving as a trusted subject matter expert.

  • Lead and deliver complex, multi-discipline telecom projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing clear communication and sound engineering judgment
  • Guide discipline-specific design efforts, ensuring coordination, accuracy, and adherence to standards
  • Mentor engineers and designers, providing feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to discipline documentation, standards, templates, and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency
  • Identify project risks early, recommend corrective actions, and support financial and scope accountability
  • Participate in client discussions, business development, and strategic pursuits to strengthen relationships and credibility
  • Conduct site visits, field verifications, and design reviews as needed to ensure project alignment and quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or related field, or equivalent technical experience
  • 8+ years of experience in AEC or professional services with telecom/ICT, structured cabling, or low-voltage discipline expertise
  • Proven experience leading discipline-specific work on complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, documentation standards, and QA/QC processes
  • Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and GitHub
  • Industry certifications preferred: RCDD, EIT, PE, CCNA, CDT, PMP
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills with the ability to build client trust
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and navigate construction or utility environments safely
