Role Description
This role involves leading a global operations network for one of the fastest-growing premium cat litter companies in the world.
- Lead a multi-regional manufacturing footprint delivering premium consumer products
- Ensure operational excellence across safety, quality, cost, service, and innovation
- Oversee capital investments, technology deployment, and continuous improvement
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Commercial, HR, Finance, Mining, R&D, and Supply Chain
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably engineering
- A master degree or MBA is a plus
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience at the plant location and divisional or corporate headquarters
- 3+ years of multi-site, multi-regional experience
- Previous experience in a related industry is preferred – but not essential
Requirements
- Strong leadership, management, emotional intelligence, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, particularly with senior management
- Highly proficient with lean manufacturing principles, thinking, and methods
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively with different cultures and business climates
- Ability to work well across reporting relationships, geographies, and functions in a matrix arrangement
- Ability to travel frequently and/or for extended periods by air and car globally
- Ability to operate a computer
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders
- Ability to tolerate and negotiate movement through plant environments
- Must be willing to work diligently during peak work periods
