Friendship Line Counselor

With over 23 programs, we offer multiple ways to aid seniors maintain their health, well-being, independence and participation in the community, fulfilling our mission.
The Counselor receives inbound and makes outbound calls to provide emotional support, counseling, crisis intervention, and information/referrals for older adults, while ensuring all calls are answered within 60 seconds and caller information is entered into the database in real time. Key duties also involve completing six-month client assessments, including various standardized psychological and risk assessments, and collaborating with supervisors to ensure adequate shift coverage.
