Role Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to lead budget and headcount management for two client groups, supporting the respective General Managers of each group. This role involves fiscal year planning, budget and headcount management, and regular reporting. You will maintain project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget management.
- Collaborate with team leadership to understand and prioritize headcount and budget needs.
- Manage and track team expenditures for two engineering client groups, including quarterly forecast cycles, monthly close reporting, and accruals.
- Work with engagement managers to ensure purchase orders are opened on time and aligned with budget forecasts.
- Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs, and offer solutions to potential budget overruns.
- Work with General Managers and the organizational headcount team to prioritize incremental and backfill headcount requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field is required.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- 4+ years of experience in resource gap analysis.
- Experience in operations analysis, reconciliation, and finance.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of business and management principles, strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles as needed.
- Experience analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues and expenses.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
