This position is for a VP of Engineering - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will create and lead an Engineering Leadership Team focused on AI-powered productivity and architectural excellence. Your mission will be to address critical engineering challenges while enhancing productivity through the integration of advanced AI tools.
- Lead the new Engineering, Architecture and Transformation pillar as part of the ELT.
- Drive the definition and improvement of engineering best practices across teams.
- Champion the internal use of GitLab's tools and unblock teams for faster delivery.
- Define and guide the transition to next-generation, AI-optimized architecture.
- Establish and lead the Architecture, Quality and Engineering Excellence team.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to address systemic horizontal challenges.
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence aligned with operational efficiency.
