Job Description
Role Description
The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate mental health care, prescribing appropriate medications, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. The General Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Provide exceptional clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health disorders.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and oversee medication management.
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay abreast of advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
- Address the clinical needs of your patient panel in a timely fashion, commensurate to the acuity of their situation, and in accordance with professional norms and best practices.
- Work closely with psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, therapists, and care coordinators to ensure integrated, whole-person care.
- Participate in clinical team meetings, case discussions, and provider rounds.
- Provide consultation and clinical insight related to addiction medicine across the broader clinical team.
- Adhere to Frontier Psychiatry’s clinical policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Support quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and care delivery efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations governing addiction treatment and telehealth services.
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Deliver care in a manner that reduces barriers to treatment for rural and underserved populations.

- Engage constructively with operational and clinical changes as the organization continues to grow and evolve.
Qualifications
- Board certification in psychiatry and completion of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program.
- Valid medical license in practicing states.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to providing culturally competent and compassionate care to diverse populations.
