Clinical Therapist providing evidence-based mental health therapy through telehealth

The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in patients, providing high-quality care, prescribing medication, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. This role requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, whole-person care and timely clinical response based on patient acuity.

The therapist will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and deliver goal-oriented, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families via telehealth, tailoring interventions to developmental stages and family context. Responsibilities also include developing individualized treatment plans, conducting structured risk assessments, coordinating care with psychiatric providers, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

The primary responsibility involves providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy via telehealth to patients of all ages, including conducting comprehensive assessments and delivering goal-focused therapy. A secondary responsibility includes community engagement (15-25%) focused on building relationships with local partners to strengthen access to culturally responsive behavioral health care across Alaska.
