Job Description

• Assist with preparing technical proposals for Aftermarket Boiler business. • Work closely with senior leadership, strategy, business development, capture personnel, and operations staff • Plan and deliver responsive, well-defined, and effective proposals to clients and prospective customers worldwide. • Support strategic planning projects and major proposals, make bid and/or no bid recommendations, and participate in proposal preparation and reviews. • Manage the proposals team for the respective group and ensure compliance with Corporate and Business Unit-specific proposal procedures.

Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of 5 years of experience with utility/industrial boilers, HRSGs
Strong technical and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond to time-sensitive issues
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively and engage internal and external stakeholders
Must be a US citizen, or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship from Wood
Must be proficient in reading boiler and equipment drawings.
Proficient with documentation and report/proposal writing.
Some domestic and international travel visiting clients and vendors is required.
Physical ability to enter boiler and auxiliary equipment through existing access doors and openings.
Willing and able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Technical knowledge of boilers, pulverizers, combustion equipment, environmental equipment, HRSGs etc.
Flexibility in schedule, initiative, willingness to learn, maintain effective and professional interaction with all levels.
Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred.
