WHAT YOU'LL DO
Are you energetic, outgoing, and obsessed with understanding what makes consumers say “yes”? Do you love brand‑building, connecting with people, and being out in the field instead of behind a desk?
Ice Labs is looking for a Brand Experience & Merchandising Specialist to help ignite consumer excitement, gather real‑time feedback, and ensure our products show up powerfully on shelf. Part tastemaker, part brand ambassador, part consumer‑insights scout—this role is ideal for college students or early‑career professionals who want hands‑on exposure to sales, marketing, or brand management.

Location: Remote work from home, in the Greater Seattle area #LI-Remote
Annual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $36.00 (depending on experience)
Core Shift: Tuesday through Saturday - to support peak consumer traffic, with periodic Sunday shifts required to support key brand moments.
Note: This range is a regional average, but compensation will be reviewed based on geographical location depending on where applicant will be working. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

Create Unforgettable Consumer Experiences
Host fun, engaging product tastings and demos that bring the brand to life at retail stores, community events, and surprise and delight pop-ups.
Develop subject matter expertise on Ice Labs products, including features, benefits, and brand story.
Serve as the “face of the brand,” authentically connecting with shoppers, answering questions, and driving product trial.
Capture authentic moments and light user-generated content (UGC) showcasing real consumer reactions and experiences.
Gather Real Consumer Insights (A Mini Field Research Role)
Conduct consumer intercept interviews to understand who our shoppers are, why they buy, and what they want next.
Capture quick, meaningful insights and translate them into clear, usable feedback that informs marketing, sales, and product development.
Own Your Territory’s Retail Presence
Deliver products to assigned retailers and ensure displays are flawless, fully stocked, and impossible to ignore.
Set up compelling point of sale materials and maintain merchandising excellence that drives purchases.
Build genuine relationships with store managers to unlock visibility, support incubator programs, create retailer value, and secure breakthrough retail opportunities.
Ensure On‑Time, On‑Point Execution
Manage your route efficiently, coordinating product drops, demos, and merchandising stops with professionalism and organization.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, including consumer reactions, store partner feedback, sales lift, and merchandising conditions.
Synthesize findings into clear, actionable reports.
WHAT YOU BRING
1+ years of sales, retail, merchandising, marketing, brand, or sensory experience, with professional references who can speak to your great attitude and work ethic.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
Ability to accommodate a Tuesday through Saturday schedule with occasional Sundays.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. repetitively, as well as to push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly.
This role is safety-sensitive. This means that you'll be regularly responsible for your own safety and/or the safety of others (e.g., driving on behalf of the company, working in a warehouse or plant environment).

Three Weeks of Vacation per calendar year. And that’s just to start! Spend some time with us, and you’ll accrue an additional week every few years, depending on your exempt status!
FMLA qualifying Rain Makers receive six weeks of paid parental leave. Parents get to spend time at home bonding with their new addition (whether it arrives by birth, fostering, or adoption). For birth mothers, additional time is provided for medical leave. Depending on the state in which you reside, additional time may also be available for parents who do not require medical leave.
Flexibility Stipend. For eligible Rain Makers, spend this extra monthly stipend as you wish, but know it’s intended to contribute to things like your phone, internet or other business uses while working remotely or needs outside of normal working hours.
Relocation: Relocation Available (when available)
Onsite and Hybrid Rain Makers: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive mileage reimbursement.

Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
