Job Description

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for the Megaport platform and evangelise the platform both internally and externally. • Developing technical specifications and go-to-market strategies for new and existing products. • Working alongside the Technology leadership team on strategy and prioritisation. • Maintain a regular cadence with customers and partners to ensure we’re holding our market-leading position. • Set success criteria and follow up to ensure new product development is delivering value for Megaport and our customers. • Continually monitoring the competitive landscape and building playbooks for the sales team. • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Job Requirements

Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
A first-hand working knowledge of current data networking products and technologies, including Ethernet networking, IP, BGP routing, peering, firewalls, NAT, etc.
Knowledge of API development and extending the API into the platform and product.
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with your peers through to senior leaders. You should be able to engage and influence others to collect requirements, describe what you’re doing, work through problems, and find productive solutions.
Self-starter, able to handle ambiguity, navigate uncertainty, identify risks, and find the right people and tools to get the job done.
