Role Description
The Montana Regional Sales Manager (RSM) at Mutual of Enumclaw is a strategic and performance-driven leader responsible for driving profitable growth through independent agency partnerships in the organization’s largest and most established territory. This role serves as a change agent and channel strategist, evolving the company’s sales philosophy and agent engagement model to meet dynamic market demands.
- Responsible for the sustained and profitable development of both Personal and Commercial Lines business
- Leverage deep product knowledge and market insights to support agency success
- Lead new business development and execute agent segmentation strategies
- Apply advanced field analytics and CRM capabilities
- Coach, incentivize, and manage a portfolio of independent agents to optimize performance across all product lines
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Leadership Team and senior executives to align field strategies with enterprise objectives
Qualifications
- Advanced relationship management and communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in agency diagnostics, sales influence, and strategic advising
- Strong technical aptitude with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated resilience, integrity, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams and agency styles
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of insurance industry or sales experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales, insurance, or a related field
- Proven ability to influence and drive results through third-party relationships

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, including video conferencing
- Meet requirements of 50% travel, after-hours, on-call, and weekend work as necessary
- Perform physically active marketing activities while remaining effective

- Salary Range: $113,867 - $161,333
