Role Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage complex technology contracts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of agreements, including software licenses, SaaS contracts, services agreements, and reseller/distributor agreements.
- Providing strategic support to sales and operational teams while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing actionable guidance and facilitating efficient deal execution.
- Having a direct impact on business outcomes and the broader commercial strategy.
Accountabilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret outbound software license agreements, SaaS agreements, data protection agreements, services agreements, and partner or reseller contracts.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, particularly sales, while leveraging the broader legal team as needed.
- Support legal operations initiatives, including improving departmental policies, procedures, training programs, and implementing legal technology solutions.
- Provide clear and practical legal guidance on commercial agreements, identifying risks and proposing actionable solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met and workflow is prioritized effectively.
- Facilitate efficient contract processing to enable business growth while maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of technology transactional experience, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on license agreements (perpetual and subscription), professional services, and reseller agreements.
- Strong background in SaaS agreements, data protection, and privacy concepts, including experience with data processing addendums.
- Previous in-house experience at a software or technology company with cloud solutions preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workflow, manage multi-dimensional projects, and meet demanding deadlines.
- Excellent professional judgment, analytical skills, and client service focus.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to influence and inform diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to operate effectively in ambiguous situations with high integrity.
- Preferred: foreign language skills and experience implementing legal technology solutions.
