Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a risk-based global compliance program tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Establish and update policies related to compliance and regulatory agencies.
- Provide regular compliance reports
- Support compliance with global standards.
- Deliver global ethics and compliance training tailored to plant managers and procurement teams.
- Partner with Global Quality, Operations Management, and other pertinent departments to ensure compliance with product and industry standards.
- Support regulatory compliance certifications (e.g., CE marking, ISO standards).
- Manage product recall compliance processes and regulatory notifications
- Conduct global compliance audits of manufacturing sites.
- Implement corrective action plans and monitor remediation effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with relevant international standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to QMS and identify areas for
improvement.
- Stay abreast of global regulatory requirements related to the industry and ensure
the organization's compliance.
- Foster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and feedback
from various sources.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance overall quality
performance.
- Assist with ISO 9001 audits and maintain all necessary records and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company policy.
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in global compliance within manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
- Experience working with global facilities.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is highly desirable.
- Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Quality Systems such as ISO:9001 is required.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn and understand new concepts.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to deliver well organized presentations to a large audience.
- Able to make independent decisions without supervisory assistance.
- Able to travel globally as required
