Role Description
The Strategic Alliances Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing partnerships that drive business growth, market expansion, and strategic objectives. This role identifies potential alliance opportunities, negotiates partnership agreements, and ensures successful collaboration between the organization and its partners.
The Strategic Alliances Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and legal, to execute alliance strategies in a fully remote environment.
- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners aligned with business objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts in collaboration with legal and finance teams
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute partnership initiatives
- Monitor and analyze the performance and ROI of strategic alliances
- Develop and implement programs to maximize value from existing partnerships
- Prepare executive reports and presentations on partnership performance and opportunities
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor partnerships, and market opportunities
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and strategic partners
- Support leadership in shaping the overall alliance strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in partnerships, business development, alliance management, or corporate strategy
- Proven experience managing B2B alliances or corporate partnerships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously
- Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or high-growth companies
- Familiarity with partnership frameworks, joint business planning, and revenue-sharing models
- Masters degree or MBA preferred
- Knowledge of CRM, partner management tools, and analytics platforms
- Experience managing global or multi-regional partnerships
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $105,000 – $135,000 USD, depending on experience, industry expertise, and scope of partnerships
- Performance-based incentives may be available
