Role Description
The Innovation Strategy Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic innovation initiatives that drive growth, operational improvement, and competitive advantage. This role evaluates emerging technologies, market trends, and new business opportunities to create scalable innovation frameworks aligned with organizational goals.
The Innovation Strategy Manager collaborates with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to design and implement initiatives that enhance products, services, processes, and overall business performance in a fully remote environment.
This is a fully remote position; however, applicants must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will not be considered.
- Develop and execute the organization's innovation strategy and roadmap
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities
- Lead innovation initiatives from concept through implementation
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and ideation sessions
- Evaluate and prioritize new business models, partnerships, and product concepts
- Support pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives
- Track innovation performance metrics and report outcomes to leadership
- Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, and finance teams
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in strategy, innovation management, management consulting, or business transformation
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
- Experience conducting market research and opportunity assessments
- Ability to manage multiple innovation projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related graduate degree
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or high-growth environments
- Familiarity with design thinking or agile innovation methodologies
- Experience managing pilot programs or transformation initiatives
- Background in consulting or corporate strategy
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range: $115,000 – $155,000 USD, depending on experience, industry background
- Performance-based bonuses may be available
