Role Description

Your potential has a place here with TTEC’s award-winning employment experience. As a Finance Clerk, you’ll be a part of bringing humanity to business. This position is onsite in Malta, NY for local candidates (within 30 miles) and remote for candidates outside the area.

Do you have a passion for organization and perfecting small details? Are you task oriented and love helping others? In this role, you’ll interact with other team members to research, answer questions and solve problems while performing back office and administrative type functions, related work and special projects as requested. Whether it’s getting answers for internal customers quickly or resolving their issues with a smile, you’ll be the difference between their customer experience being just average or an exceptional one.

During a Typical Day, You’ll:

• Research, resolve, and reconcile payment exceptions, including unidentified payments, lockbox items, chargebacks, refunds, and NSF activity
• Monitor and make decisions on Positive Pay exception items
• Prepare daily lockbox courier packages and support end-to-end payment processing
• Document and improve departmental standard operating procedures to drive efficiency

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of clerical experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recognize, apply and explain your product or service knowledge
• Computer experience
• Data entry skills (35 wpm)
