Role Description
Capital Management Services is expanding its Mortgage Collections Team and is seeking motivated individuals for a fully remote Mortgage Collections Representative position.
Mortgage collections involves contacting borrowers who are behind on their mortgage payments and assisting them in resolving delinquent accounts. Representatives work with borrowers to:
- Understand their situation
- Discuss repayment options
- Help establish payment arrangements
The goal is to help customers catch up on payments and avoid foreclosure when possible. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to learn mortgage terminology, and comfort using basic computer applications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to learn mortgage terminology and collections procedures
- Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems, email, and web browsers
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain a quiet, distraction-free home workspace
Requirements
- Wired high-speed internet connection (WiFi not permitted)
- Minimum 25 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload speed
- Candidates will be required to submit a wired speed test from https://speedtest.net using their home computer or laptop
- Smartphone required: Android (OS 11.0 or higher) or iPhone (iOS 16 or higher)
