Job Description

• Proactively identify and pursue new international business opportunities, leveraging market insights to build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects. • Implement targeted strategies to expand reach into new growth channels and emerging markets. • Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of opportunities. • Lead complex negotiations and consult on challenging renewals to secure profitable agreements. • Position Aetna’s full product portfolio to meet client needs and deliver compelling value propositions that drive conversion. • Execute finalist presentations with precision, influencing decision-makers and move opportunities to close. • Cultivate influential relationships with key stakeholders to accelerate deal cycles and strengthen long-term partnerships. • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless sales execution, from proposal through installation and servicing. • Foster relationships with brokers and consultants to achieve active promoter status with key individuals within the consultant centers of excellence. • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation. • Represent Aetna International at industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads. • Own the end-to-end sales process, including RFP responses, quoting, and strategic planning.

Job Requirements

  • 5–7 years of proven success in international/expatriate benefits or related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a high-performing sales pipeline.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Persuasive presentation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence buying decisions.
  • Deep understanding of business financials, products, and services.
  • SF.com expertise, including report development is desired but not required.
  • Must be Health & Life licensed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
