Job DetailsJob Location: Remote Corporate Position - Shreveport, LA 71106Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaysJob Category: Human ResourcesPosition Summary: The individual recruits qualified physicians and staff for each SUN location. This position will assist and coordinate the development of strategic and comprehensive physician recruitment plans in accordance with the needs and goals of Sun Behavioral. The individual will conduct sourcing, screening and, as needed, processing of employee positions within each location.  The individual will need to complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame and must be flexible with his/her work schedule.  This position involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.   Position Responsibilities: Clinical / Technical Skills (40% of performance review) Works closely with locations to understand their business, identifying physician/staff recruitment strategies and providing recruitment and workforce planning services to meet the needs to hire talented and diverse candidates. Develop job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Timely sourcing, screening, and interviewing of qualified candidates to ascertain organizational fit, and schedules interviews. Recruits’ passive and active candidates through a variety of creative recruitment technology strategies, tools and social platforms, utilizing cultural diversity and inclusion principles.  Ensures a positive applicant and hiring manager experience throughout the hiring process which includes timely application follow-up and interview status. Manage all information in the applicant tracking software. Manages metrics on the hiring process across the system. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the areas of recruiting, Human Resources, and healthcare. Appropriately screens applications for skill set and cultural fit. Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.    Must be able to demonstrate strong decision-making and analytical skills.  Assist in communicating with hospital leadership on position recruitment and onboarding Must be able to communicate effectively with applicants on hospital positions and benefits Perform other duties as assigned. Reports “near misses”, as well as errors and accidents promptly. Corrects minor safety hazards. Communicate with peers and management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace. Participates in quality projects, as assigned, and supports quality initiatives. Supports and maintains a culture of safety and quality. Teamwork (15% of performance review) Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.  Responds willingly to colleagues and serves as an active part of the hospital team. Builds collaborative relationships with patients, families, staff, and physicians. The ability to retrieve, communicate, and present data and information both verbally and in writing as required Demonstrates listening skills and the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written words.  Demonstrates adequate skills in all forms of communication. Adheres to the Standards of Behavior Integrity (15% of performance review) Strives to always do the right thing for the patient, coworkers, and the hospital Adheres to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols, and laws.  Apply the Mission and Values of SUN Behavioral Health to personal practice and commit to service excellence. Supports and demonstrates fiscal responsibility through supply usage, ordering of supplies, and conservation of facility resources. Completes required training within defined time periods, as established by job description, policies, or hospital leadership Exemplifies professionalism through good attendance and positive attitude, at all times. Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information, following HIPAA and other privacy laws. Ensures proper documentation in all position activities, following federal and state guidelines. Compassion (15% of performance review) Demonstrates accountability for ensuring the highest quality patient care for patients. Willingness to be accepting of those in need, and to extend a helping hand Desire to go above and beyond for others   Understanding and accepting cultural diversity and differences QualificationsEducation Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or similar. Preferred: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certifications Maintains education and development appropriate for position. May substitute experience for education Experience Required: Three years of Physician recruitment experience in a healthcare setting Preferred: Previous experience in a behavioral health setting May substitute education for experience
