Role Description

As a Recruiter, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor and the primary architect of the Sales hiring funnel. You won't just manage a lifecycle; you will lead the charge in identifying, attracting, and closing high-impact sales professionals who drive Docusign’s revenue growth. You will operate as a high-visibility individual contributor, blending data-driven sourcing strategies with sophisticated candidate relationship management to ensure we don’t just fill seats, but elevate our sales performance bar.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultative partner to Sales Leadership, providing real-time market intelligence, talent mapping, and diversity insights to influence hiring decisions and headcount planning.
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for high-impact Sales roles (including AE, SE, and Leadership), from initial discovery sessions to complex offer negotiations and closing.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the hiring funnel and leverage TA metrics to drive continuous improvements in Time-to-Hire, Quality-of-Hire, and Diversity Slate health.
  • Build deep, diverse talent benches through creative outbound sourcing, networking, and industry-specific research for both current and future expansion needs.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience that mirrors the Docusign brand, ensuring every applicant—regardless of outcome—becomes a brand advocate.
  • Navigate the closing ecosystem by collaborating seamlessly with HRBPs, Compensation, Legal, and Immigration teams to build competitive, equitable, and compliant offer packages.
  • Partner with Marketing to amplify our Sales value proposition, helping to position Docusign as the premier destination for top-tier SaaS sales talent globally.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical work experience.
  • 5+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment (SaaS or high-growth tech preferred).
  • Track record of successfully hiring quota-carrying sales professionals and understanding sales compensation structures.

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean, X-Ray, social engineering) and a hunter mindset for passive talent.
  • Ability to influence and challenge hiring managers when necessary, and guide interview teams toward objective, competency-based hiring decisions.
  • Penchant for data and the ability to translate recruiting metrics into actionable stories for executive leadership.
  • High proficiency with the modern recruiter stack using a CRM, ATS, LinkedIn, and comfort in using AI.
  • Resilience and urgency with the ability to pivot quickly in a volatile market while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.

Benefits

  • Paid Time Off: earned time off, as well as paid company holidays based on region.
  • Paid Parental Leave: take up to six months off with your child after birth, adoption or foster care placement.
  • Full Health Benefits Plans: options for 100% employer paid and minimum employee contribution health plans from day one of employment.
  • Retirement Plans: select retirement and pension programs with potential for employer contributions.
  • Learning and Development: options for coaching, online courses and education reimbursements.
  • Compassionate Care Leave: paid time off following the loss of a loved one and other life-changing events.
