Job Description

• Lead the contract lifecycle management (CLM) workflow, including management of the contract repository and tracking of important contract dates. • Assist with contract drafting, processing, including formatting, clean-up, filing and executing agreements. • Maintain accurate records, report project metrics and track contractual terms. • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate communication and ensure timely execution of contracts. • Assist attorneys in all phases of M&A transactions, from due diligence to post-closing integration; prepare, review, and coordinate documents related to mergers, acquisitions, purchase agreements and other agreements. • Lead the administration of the company’s legal billing platform and interact with all levels of the organization and departments to ensure the payment of, and efficient forecasting of legal invoices. • Lead the accrual of legal expenses and lead the interaction related thereto between the Legal and Finance departments. • Utilize AI to streamline various job responsibilities. • Assist the attorney in various stages of litigation. • Work with other members of the legal team to drive progress on cross-functional projects, as assigned, while looking for opportunities to improve processes to help the company scale and be more efficient. • Respond to requests for information as needed including assist company personnel with information or other data from legal department and assist outside counsel and others as required. • Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner, and maintain complete confidentiality at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
  • Paralegal Certificate.
  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification preferred.
  • Prior legal billing experience preferred.
  • Job Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or legal corporation preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in contract lifecycle management (CLM) including creation, collaboration, signing, tracking and renewal.
  • Required Skills:
  • Excellent business judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Action oriented with demonstrated project management skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple requests in a fast-paced environment and managing priorities.
  • Strong computer and word processing skills, including proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets, and Microsoft Word, Excel and e-billing and contract management tools.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with staff at all levels of the organization.
