Job Description
Job Requirements
- Education:
- Paralegal Certificate.
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification preferred.
- Prior legal billing experience preferred.
- Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or legal corporation preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in contract lifecycle management (CLM) including creation, collaboration, signing, tracking and renewal.
- Required Skills:
- Excellent business judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Action oriented with demonstrated project management skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple requests in a fast-paced environment and managing priorities.
- Strong computer and word processing skills, including proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets, and Microsoft Word, Excel and e-billing and contract management tools.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with staff at all levels of the organization.

The specialist reviews incoming communications like emails and ECF filings to determine docketing necessity and makes informed decisions on adding items to case teams' Outlook calendars. They will also assess priority, communicate with case teams for information, perform limited research for deadline verification, and respond to inquiries regarding docketed events and rules.
This role provides legal support to the Legal Team, focusing on drafting, tracking, and managing various agreements such as NDAs, MSAs, and Clinical Trial Agreements. The position also supports the business by responding to legal questions, developing binding agreements using templates, and ensuring executed contracts are properly distributed internally.
