This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of a next-generation AI-driven financial companion designed to guide users proactively through personalized financial journeys. You will own consumer-facing LLM (large language model) features end-to-end, from defining user journeys and engagement mechanics to ensuring model quality, safety, and compliance. Collaborating closely with engineering, design, data, risk, legal, and product teams, you will translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into actionable plans that scale to millions of users. The role balances innovation with responsibility, enabling you to shape AI-driven experiences that improve financial outcomes while advancing toward agentic capabilities. - Lead the end-to-end development of AI-driven consumer financial features, delivering reliable, scalable, and personalized LLM experiences.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify user pain points, define requirements, and design proactive journeys that balance model safety, quality, and business needs.
- Maintain and prioritize the AI Companion roadmap, starting with credit scoring features and expanding across additional financial verticals.
- Make data-driven decisions using activation, engagement, retention, and quality/safety metrics to guide product prioritization.
- Translate complex technical, regulatory, and compliance requirements into clear specifications, user flows, evaluation plans, and stakeholder updates.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, data, and compliance teams to ship AI features safely at scale.
- Continuously iterate on product features and engagement mechanics based on metrics, user feedback, and AI model performance.
Qualifications
- 3–8 years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipped products.
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs in production, including prompt design, evaluation criteria, output review, and iterative improvement.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize ambiguity, present trade-offs, and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without authority, driving collaboration across engineering, legal, compliance, data, and business teams.
- Familiarity with fintech, consumer lending, or regulated products is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and analytical with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with shifting priorities.
