Role Description
Job Duck is seeking a detail-driven and proactive Legal Operations Case Manager to support a growing personal injury practice by reducing case management bottlenecks and improving follow-up consistency. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping cases moving forward by:
- Coordinating medical records
- Communicating with providers
- Maintaining timely client contact
Your daily work will directly support paralegals and case managers who are currently managing heavy pre-litigation workloads. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, enjoys follow-up-based work, and takes pride in being a reliable point of continuity for active cases. If you are organized, communicative, and motivated by helping legal teams operate more efficiently, this role offers meaningful impact and long-term growth.
Monthly Salary Range: From 1,220 to 1,320 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Track pending items and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate follow ups to prevent case delays
- Communicate with clients to gather additional case information
- Reach out to medical providers to request documentation
- Follow up on outstanding medical records
- Support case managers and paralegals by reducing administrative workload
- Update and maintain accurate records within SmartAdvocate
- Maintain consistent documentation and case notes
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working as a legal case manager required
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong follow-up and task ownership skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage repetitive and process-driven tasks consistently
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfort working in fast-paced legal environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliability and accountability in meeting daily responsibilities

- Location and timezone: Remote, Eastern Standard Time (EST)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM EST
- Expected call volume: Light to moderate call volume
