Role Description

The Director of Information Technology manages the company’s IT platform. This position promotes all aspects of IT, both hardware and software. Managing the work of other IT professionals and teams as well as working with other senior leaders is of paramount importance to this role.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years leading engineering teams and holding end-to-end technical authority for delivery and quality.
  • Proven track record driving architecture direction and technical standards across multi-team products and/or platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, enforce, and measure engineering standards (design reviews, code reviews, testing expectations, security controls, and operational readiness).
  • Strong experience leading distributed engineering teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Comfortable guiding end-to-end execution across backend, frontend, cloud-native infrastructure, integrations, and data modeling—without needing to be the primary implementer.
  • Able to represent engineering capability in executive and customer-facing settings, including audits, technical diligence, and sales-cycle technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firestore (NoSQL) data modeling.
  • Experience with .NET Core (C#) and Node.js.
  • Experience with Angular and React.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin, Swift, or React Native.
