Role Description

Otter Products is hiring for a Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. You can be based in Fort Collins, CO or remotely anywhere in the US.

As a Sales Operations Specialist you will serve as a key member of the revenue team with a strong focus on driving operational execution to support sales growth and customer support. You will apply knowledge of sales processes, multi-channel sales needs, and broader operational functions in the continuous evaluation of processes and practices to identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve efficiency and drive accuracy toward achieving organizational goals. You will solve business and customer issues to ensure we are consistently functioning as a best-in-class sales operations and revenue organization.

Responsibilities

  • Cascade business insight through the revenue organization, such as S&OP outputs, forecast projections, performance updates, etc. ensuring accuracy and timely dissemination of information.
  • Represent the Sales team and provide critical input in monthly S&OP and demand planning sessions.
  • Identify areas of sales operations improvement; develop and lead initiatives to optimize operations and collaborate with Demand Planning, Data, Merchandising, and other cross-functional teams to support implementation.
  • Drive accountability on key deliverables such as data input requests and forecast deadlines to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead critical meetings for the revenue team, including but not limited to revenue tracking, seasonal forecasting and GTM milestones providing key data metrics.
  • Continuously analyze internal processes to identify areas of improvement, develop and implement solutions.
  • Effectively communicate key updates including critical key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and upcoming deliverables across the revenue organization.
  • Partner with the Sales Analyst, Point of Sale in the analysis of sell-through, channel inventory, and weeks of supply to identify opportunities for growth and optimize performance.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to support strategic initiatives, go-to-market planning, and process improvements.
  • Assist the team with questions around systems and reporting issues, driving solutions to issues as needed.
  • Partner with technology and data teams to evolve organizational tools and reporting platforms.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Business is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience including sales, data analysis, and/or business operations is required.
  • Experience with sales operations at a consumer product company highly preferred.
