Role Description
Otter Products is hiring for a Sales Analyst to join our sales operations team. You can be based in Fort Collins, CO or remotely anywhere in the US.
As the Sales Analyst, Point of Sale, you will apply knowledge of point-of-sale metrics, methodologies, and best practices to gather and analyze data measuring the performance of key account sales for the company. In this role you will:
- Identify trends, develop insights, and provide recommendations to sales leadership.
- Enhance growth opportunities for the organization.
- Quantify business opportunities and risks to achieve increased revenues and market share.
- Work closely with sales, data management, merchandising, product, supply/demand planning, finance/accounting, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, generate reports, and identify opportunities for sales optimization.
To succeed in this crucial role, you must be analytical, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of sales analysis, business intelligence, or market analysis experience is required.
- Excel and Tableau experience required.
- Point of sale analysis required.
Requirements
- Define, manage, and monitor a portfolio of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retailers and direct to consumer (DTC) points of sale (sell through).
- Develop data-backed insights used to identify and implement effective processes, tasks, activities, and methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional sessions highlighting key account sell-through metrics.
- Forecast future order trends using statistical data.
- Gather, analyze, and report on data including sell-in/through, sales pacing & forecasting, accrual planning, and more.
- Participate in key account business planning and sell-in sessions.
- Provide insights into product sell-through trends to the merchandising and product teams.
- Evaluate effectiveness and profitability of sell-through programs.
- Evolve reporting platforms to ensure consistent and accurate visibility of key account point of sale trends.
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
