Role Description

As a Project Manager at STAT, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various technology projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Create and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative environment and facilitate effective communication among team members.
• Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address challenges to ensure timely resolution and minimize project disruptions.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization and productivity.
• Monitor resource availability and adjust project plans as necessary to accommodate changing priorities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, status, and key milestones.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or feedback in a timely manner.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the project management framework.
• Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven track record managing software/technology projects from initiation to delivery.
• Strong proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills - ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• Agile/Scrum methodology experience (if you use those frameworks).
• Budget management experience ($X - $Y project budgets).
• Vendor/contractor management experience.
• Technical background or ability to work closely with engineering teams.
• Customer-facing experience in SaaS/tech environments.
• Data-driven approach to project metrics and reporting.
