Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven Implementation Director to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex client implementations from pre-sales through full production. This role provides strategic oversight and hands-on guidance to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and at high quality. The successful candidate will serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships while coordinating cross-functional teams to meet client goals. You will also identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational excellence, making a measurable impact on both client satisfaction and organizational performance. This position thrives in a remote, collaborative, and dynamic environment with high visibility across stakeholders.
- Leading project planning, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables, and ensuring organizational alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinating cross-functional internal teams and client committees, including technology, medical policy, finance, training, and communications.
- Monitoring project progress, tracking implementation issues, and reporting status against key milestones.
- Serving as the primary day-to-day client contact, maintaining consistent communication, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Facilitating seamless transitions to Client Services and Network Operations teams for ongoing support.
- Driving process improvement initiatives to enhance implementation efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and communicating them to leadership for pursuit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; PMP certification preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in program and project management, client-facing service delivery, and technology implementations, preferably in health plan systems or similar environments.
- Knowledge of health claims systems such as Facets, Paradigm/Diamond, Amisys/Amisys Advance, QMacs/QNXT, or QCare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) and functional SQL experience.
- Strong ability to manage confidential information and navigate matrix organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, handle high volumes of work, and adapt to change.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
- Comfort working in a remote, international environment, including scheduling across time zones.
