Role Description

The Sales Director is responsible for opening doors, closing deals, and building the foundation for scalable revenue growth. In this role, you’ll focus on landing net-new accounts and creating a repeatable outbound sales motion—working closely with marketing, SDRs, and delivery leaders, but ultimately owning the full sales cycle from lead to close.

We’re looking for someone who can balance strategy and execution:

  • A dealmaker who can engage technical and executive buyers.
  • Build their own pipeline, experiment with outreach, and refine messaging based on what’s working in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage and close new business opportunities for Distillery's services.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, and campaign-based efforts.
  • Lead consultative discovery calls to deeply understand client needs and position Distillery’s capabilities effectively.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Work with Account Managers and Delivery to ensure smooth client transitions post-sale.
  • Track pipeline activity in Salesforce and deliver accurate forecasts and insights to leadership.
  • Partner with marketing and SDRs to shape outbound campaigns and improve lead conversion.
  • Develop and execute MSAs and Statements of Work in partnership with contract management.
  • Stay current on market trends and client challenges to evolve sales strategy and positioning.
  • Contribute to the development of a repeatable playbook for new business acquisition.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of outbound sales experience in B2B services, ideally in software development, IT consulting, or nearshore delivery.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring new logos and meeting/exceeding quota in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment.
  • Experience selling nearshore resources is a plus.
  • Experience selling data related projects and resources is a plus.
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills, with a track record of proactively engaging leads.
  • Goal-oriented and skilled in networking and influencing decision-makers.
  • Ability to own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.

Benefits

  • Join a global team committed to Distillery's core values: Unyielding Commitment, Relentless Pursuit, Courageous Ambition, and Authentic Connection.
  • 100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere while collaborating with a diverse, multinational team.
  • Competitive Compensation: Generous and competitive package in USD, along with a comprehensive benefits plan.
  • Flexible Hours: Create a schedule that aligns with your life and priorities.
  • Home Office Setup: Receive all the hardware and software needed to succeed from home.
  • Innovative Workplace: Collaborate with the global Top 1% of talent in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  • Focus on Growth: Pursue professional and personal development while contributing your unique talents to a team where you can truly shine!
