Job Description

• Convert storyboards, PowerPoints (PPTs), job aids, desk references, and quick reference guides into trainings (including e-learnings) that achieve defined objectives and engage learners. • Apply sound instructional design principles that reflect how self‑paced e‑learning differs from instructor‑led (in‑person) and virtual trainings, ensuring appropriate pacing, interaction, and cognitive load. • Partner with project managers, teammates, and clients to clarify requirements, align on scope and timelines, and provide proactive status updates. • Receive and act on critical feedback constructively; deliver timely, appropriate updates based on Project Manager and client review cycles. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, plan your work, and consistently deliver on schedule. • Follow strict branding, formatting, accessibility, and quality‑assurance guidelines across all deliverables. • Design and develop programs in alignment with the client’s vision, organizational goals, and training needs identified from various need assessments and analysis. • Research client goals and identify opportunities to further these goals. • Produce or integrate video, animations, screen recordings, graphics, and images using the appropriate tools (Vyond, Eleven Labs, Camtasia, Adobe Applications). • Organize project files, versions, and change logs; maintain reusable components and lessons learned to improve future projects. • Create development programs using an array of design approaches supporting 70/20/10 methodology: self-study, practice, performance support, knowledge sharing, experience activities, and other supporting material/media (e.g., audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years professional experience in a development environment role
  • Instructional Designer certification preferred
  • Demonstrated instructional design experience required, broad ADDIE application
  • Experience using established tools, templates, and repositories to design and develop trainings.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, instructional design, and course development.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with project managers, teammates, and clients; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines, balancing competing priorities, and managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to accept and incorporate critical feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Experience developing e‑learning with Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline 360; creating media with Vyond, Camtasia, and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom/Express.
  • Working knowledge of an LMS for publishing and managing e‑learning content.
  • Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and adherence to branding and formatting standards.
  • Creative problem‑solving and original design thinking within defined constraints.

Benefits
