Role Description
Our Industrial fluid sealing products division is looking for an Account Manager to join their team! As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing your business territory by:
- Ongoing existing relationship building
- Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities and accounts
- Selling the company’s products and/or services to end-users within your designated territory
Location: Remote (As needed visits to Middleburg Heights, OH facility). Candidate must reside locally in either Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, or Northern West Virginia, as daily local travel to customers is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred
- 3+ years industrial technical sales experience or background in industrial technical products
- Experience selling fluid sealing products in the power generation, chemical/petro-chemical, and industrial markets is highly desired
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a team environment
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and selling within short and long sales cycles
Requirements
- Assists in developing sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration
- Meeting and/or exceeding the assigned business targets in a specific geographic area or account
- Provides sales support to Bid and Proposals team by identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales earnings and capturing new business
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales
- Delivers sales presentations and demonstrations to key clients, negotiates and closes deals
- Meets with clients and leads customer interfaces making recommendations for capture strategy
- Maintains relationships with customers, including timely responses
- Develops and presents business cases for internal review and communicate development on a regular basis
- Extensive travel required, over 50%
- Manage and update CRM activities within assigned region
