Role Description

The Total Rewards Analyst develops, implements, and administers various Total Reward Programs for any of the following areas: Retirement, Employee Benefits, Leave Administration, Service Relations, Total Rewards or Compensation, to provide consistent and equitable treatment of employees and to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

A caregiver in this position works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must have the ability to work on site as future in-office requirements may arise.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Administer specific Total Rewards programs, including reviewing changes or enhancements to ensure the programs comply with internal policies and external regulations and they are market competitive.
  • Recommend changes and improvements as needed.
  • Assist with employee communications to introduce and explain plan changes.
  • Act as a liaison between other areas of Total Rewards, Human Resources, and/or third-party administrators.
  • Determine eligibility for participation in various Total Reward programs and maintain records.
  • Perform audits of various Total Reward programs and their application to ensure compliance with internal policies and local, state, and federal laws and guidelines.
  • Make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Lead and manage leave-related Total Rewards programs (e.g., staff disability, maternity, parental leave, FMLA) for physicians enterprise-wide.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for physician leave matters.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and third-party administrators to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Craft employee communications and assists in the rollout of benefit changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional and functionally relevant experience in a Human Resources environment including at least 2 years of Total Rewards experience
  • OR 6 years of professional experience in Human Resources/Total Rewards

Requirements

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefit Professional (CBP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
  • Experience managing complex Total Rewards programs, especially welfare plans
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and regulatory frameworks

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.
  • Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.

  • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
