Role Description

This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity within investor relations, focusing on tax credit equity funds and multi-investor financial products. The Senior Director will manage high-level investor relationships, oversee complex closings, and ensure seamless coordination across acquisitions, fund management, and legal teams. You will lead due diligence and closing processes while providing insights on fund structuring and investor preferences. The position requires a deep understanding of tax credit programs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate senior-level financial stakeholders. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with LIHTC investors, acting as the main point of contact for all fund-related matters.
• Manage investment closings for multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds, coordinating internally and with external counsel.
• Collaborate with Acquisitions and Fund Management teams on fund structuring, timelines, property lists, and CRA commitments, recommending process improvements where appropriate.
• Oversee investor due diligence and closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams throughout due diligence and closing cycles, addressing investor inquiries efficiently.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences and investor meetings, staying informed of market trends and fund performance.
• Mentor and guide team members in executing investor relations activities and provide leadership during complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in housing tax credit equity or similar investment environments.
• Proven experience closing multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level investors and financial professionals.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in negotiation, problem-solving, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Collaborative and accountable, with the ability to work independently while meeting team and organizational goals.
• In-depth knowledge of LIHTC programs and familiarity with industry trends and investor requirements.
