- Develop and maintain strong relationships with LIHTC investors, acting as the main point of contact for all fund-related matters.
- Manage investment closings for multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds, coordinating internally and with external counsel.
- Collaborate with Acquisitions and Fund Management teams on fund structuring, timelines, property lists, and CRA commitments, recommending process improvements where appropriate.
- Oversee investor due diligence and closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams throughout due diligence and closing cycles, addressing investor inquiries efficiently.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and investor meetings, staying informed of market trends and fund performance.
- Mentor and guide team members in executing investor relations activities and provide leadership during complex transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in housing tax credit equity or similar investment environments.
- Proven experience closing multi-investor and proprietary tax credit equity funds.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level investors and financial professionals.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in negotiation, problem-solving, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Collaborative and accountable, with the ability to work independently while meeting team and organizational goals.
