Role Description
phData is seeking a sharp, curious, and opinionated content leader to help shape the conversation around AI. This role sits at the intersection of market intelligence, storytelling, and brand influence. You will track developments across the AI and data ecosystem, separate signal from noise, and translate insights into bold narratives that position phData at the center of the market conversation.
Key Responsibilities

Develop Market POV:
- Monitor the AI and data landscape and translate emerging trends into clear, differentiated perspectives that strengthen phData’s voice in the market.

Core themes include but are not limited to:
- Intelligence Platforms
- Enterprise AI adoption and the execution gap
- Agentic AI and the AI workforce
- Data foundation modernization
- Where AI hype ends and real enterprise value begins

Build phData’s Voice in the Market:
- Expand phData’s visibility and authority across social and industry channels.
- Shape a distinctive executive and brand voice across LinkedIn and priority platforms.
- Translate ideas into compelling, conversation-driving content.
- Lead amplification strategies that extend reach and influence.

Lead the Editorial Strategy:
- Own the strategic content roadmap and ensure phData’s thinking shows up consistently across the market.

Oversee development of:
- Executive POV articles and LinkedIn thought leadership
- Flagship reports and whitepapers
- Campaign narratives and strategic content
- Webinars, speaking content, and industry commentary
- Analyst and partner-facing perspectives

Run Content Operations:
- Lead a high-quality content engine that blends strategy, creativity, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Manage writers, agencies, and freelancers.
- Maintain editorial standards and narrative consistency.
- Introduce AI-assisted workflows to increase speed and scale.
- Ensure content supports demand generation and sales engagement.

Partner with Solution Marketing, GTM, Demand Generation, and Sales to ensure content drives:
- Enterprise engagement
- Pipeline influence
- Account expansion
- Market credibility
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- phData develops a clear and differentiated POV on Intelligence Platforms and enterprise AI execution.
- Executives and subject matter experts have a consistent and influential voice across LinkedIn and industry conversations.
- A flagship thought leadership series or report becomes a recognizable phData asset in the market.
- Content directly supports ABM programs, enterprise deals, and partner conversations.
- phData’s perspective on AI and data is regularly referenced by clients, partners, and analysts.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in content strategy, thought leadership, journalism, tech marketing or industry analyst firms.
- Deep curiosity about AI, data platforms, and enterprise technology.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills with a clear, confident voice.
- Ability to articulate bold perspectives that challenge conventional industry narratives.
- Strategic mindset with understanding of how content drives brand, pipeline, and growth.
- Experience managing writers, agencies, or editorial programs.
Location & Time Zone Expectations
- This role is based in the US.
- We are a remote-first company, and you should be comfortable working with a distributed global team.
- Some flexibility may be required to collaborate across time zones with colleagues and clients.
- Client needs may occasionally require flexibility in working hours to support key milestones or workshops.
