Role Description

This role offers the opportunity to lead and scale sustainability initiatives across cloud infrastructure and data center operations. You will develop circular innovation strategies, monetize decommissioned assets, and align renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives with business objectives. The position combines strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and external engagement to establish industry-leading sustainability programs. You will drive go-to-market strategies, forge strategic partnerships, and design innovative circular flows from material recovery to recycling programs. The role requires a visionary mindset, strong P&L accountability, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve measurable environmental and business impact. This is a fully remote position with broad latitude to shape sustainability practices across multiple markets.

  • Lead sustainability strategy and circular innovation initiatives across infrastructure and data center operations, with full P&L accountability.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that monetize decommissioned assets and align renewable energy and carbon reduction initiatives with business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships to enable circular material flows and responsible supply chains.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to recycle, repurpose, and reintegrate valuable materials into existing or new value chains.
  • Drive external evangelism of sustainability programs through industry events, consortia, and media engagements.
  • Provide strategic market insights, competitive analysis, and policy intelligence to inform expansion and innovation opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business and environmental impact through sustainability programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading global sustainability programs, circular innovation, or related initiatives in technology or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven success in developing and executing market expansion strategies and monetization of sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, product, and business operations.
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry networks.
  • Deep understanding of circular economy principles, material recovery processes, and renewable energy alignment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and experience shaping sustainability programs with measurable outcomes.
