Role Description
As an Implementation Specialist you will be reporting directly to the Implementation Team Manager. In this role, you will work with project managers and business analysts to deliver CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation projects and facilitate mentoring sessions for customers. An Implementation Specialist also responds to ad hoc customer requests, working directly with the customer to provide subject matter expertise and guidance on the project implementation. Implementation Specialists must manage multiple tasks simultaneously and document troubleshooting steps and problem resolution in a clear and concise manner. Daily activities will include analyzing, designing, and delivering solutions specific to customers’ products, services, pricing, business rules, and selling process objectives.
Ideal applicants will combine AI proficiency with an aptitude for continuous improvement to transform CPQ operations through innovative automation. This position demands initiative in spotting inefficiencies, adaptability to new AI tools and methodologies, and a proactive approach to completing implementation work that accelerates project cycles, reduces manual intervention, and elevates overall delivery performance.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Professional Services team by providing excellent customer service/support and execute on project implementations
- Review, analyze, and evaluate customer business requirements and solution objectives, being attentive to potential scope creep
- Participate in ongoing implementation team decisions/projects and write detailed steps required to develop or modify applications
- Lead implementation specific activities and conduct meetings with new and existing customers
- Input issues and case data into customer facing and internal issue tracking applications
- Communicate with internal Product Development team members for technical support needs
- Proactively identify and resolve process inefficiencies in collaboration with the Implementation Manager and team
- Participate in ongoing departmental continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- B.A. or higher in a related field
- Experience in an agile software development environment using JIRA and documenting user stories
- Demonstrated JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and SQL skill and experience
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Must be willing to accept responsibility and show good judgement, initiative, and resourcefulness
- Excellent problem solving, research and analysis, technical, and leadership skills
- Some travel may be required

- Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software
- Must be highly organized and work well under pressure
- Ability to effectively and efficiently deal with multiple projects, conflicting timelines, and changing priorities
- 2-5 years of manufacturing industry experience
- Knowledge of technology, to include IT networking, internet technologies and web applications
