Role Description
The Email Marketing Specialist is a remote role and will lead the project management, execution, and optimization of Teddy Baldassarre’s lifecycle marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for building and managing campaigns that drive audience engagement, product sales, and customer retention, while ensuring that email remains a powerful channel connecting our global community of watch enthusiasts with our content and retail offerings. The ideal candidate is both data-driven and creative, with strong experience in advanced Klaviyo and Attentive marketing segmentation and automation.
Core Responsibilities

Email Campaign Execution
- Implement email and SMS campaigns supporting product launches, brand partnerships, editorial content, and promotional initiatives.
- Assist in developing campaign calendars aligned with broader marketing, content, and merchandising strategies.
- Create compelling subject lines, messaging, and calls-to-action as needed.
- Update design templates in Figma as needed.
- Work closely with content, merchandising, and operations teams to source copy, images, and topics.
- Work up to getting campaigns scheduled a month ahead.

Audience Segmentation & Personalization
- Implement segmentation strategies to deliver more personalized and relevant email and SMS experiences.
- Build targeted campaigns and flows based on customer behavior, purchase history, and engagement data.

Automations Execution
- Implement advanced automated email and SMS flows throughout the customer journey to drive engagement, retention, and loyalty.
- Map out touchpoints and interactions to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Continuously refine and optimize automations to improve conversion and engagement.
- Implementation of webhooks using APIs.

Performance Analysis
- Monitor key performance metrics including open rates, click rates, revenue attribution, and conversion rates.
- Create baseline metrics and monitor changes in LTV, RPR, and time between purchases.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaign and flow performance and drive lift at different stages of the customer lifecycle.
- Pull analytics for weekly EOS reporting and provide any recommendations or additional context needed.

Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with content, merchandising, and creative teams to align messaging with brand initiatives.
- Ensure emails and SMS support both content distribution and product sales.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to develop innovative strategies to market for different teams.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in email marketing or lifecycle marketing
- Experience in e-commerce or retail marketing
- Experience with email and SMS marketing platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Attentive, etc.)
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Strong analytical skills with experience tracking campaign performance
- Experience building advanced segmentation and automated flows
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
