Role Description
We are hiring a Customer Success Engineer to support our Gig vertical, working directly with high-growth platforms that rely on real-time, API-driven background screening and identity workflows to onboard and manage their workforce. This role is designed for someone with strong engineering fundamentals and a teacher mindset. Someone who enjoys translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for customers.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for our gig customers and prospects.
- Work closely with customer engineering teams to guide API integrations.
- Help design scalable workflows and ensure efficient transition from evaluation to production.
- Enable workflows through our platform for fast-paced environments with unique onboarding and compliance needs.
- Prior experience with gig or marketplace platforms is helpful but not required.
- Must be located in the United States.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in software engineering or similar role; API experience required.
- Strong familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Backend experience with Postman, Java, Node.js, Python.
- Strength in writing production-ready, scalable code.
- Technical support experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business concepts and vice-versa.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience working in an agile development environment.
